About the Symposium

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the Macedonian Association for HPV (MSHPV) and the Macedonian Association for Sexually Transmitted Diseases (MSSTD), we have the honor to invite you to the joint Symposium with the working title “HPV infection and associated diseases”, which will be held from 25-27.11. 2022 in Hotel Drim, Struga, North Macedonia.
The mission of the Symposium is to gather Macedonian and world-renowned colleagues in one place and enable a fruitful exchange of experiences, ideas, and knowledge, all with the aim of improving patient services through gaining new skills and the introduction of new techniques and therapeutic modalities in everyday practice.

The topics that will be covered during the Symposium are:
–      Epidemiology and molecular biology of HPV
–      Basic immunology and pathogenesis of HPV
–      Global burden of HPV infection and associated diseases
–      Prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cervical cancer
–      Condylomata accuminata / Diagnosis and treatment
–      HPV and HNC cancer (head and neck cancers)
–      HPV vaccines – therapeutic and prophylactic
–      Preventive effect of nutritional supplements in HPV infection
–      Psycho-social aspect of HPV infection

At the same time, this Symposium will be an opportunity for establishing new professional contacts and friendships.
The symposium will be jointly organized by the Macedonian Association for HPV and the Macedonian Association for Sexually Transmitted Diseases and accredited by the Doctor’s Chamber of N. Macedonia (DCM) and the Macedonian Medical Association (MLD).
